The new plant disease clinic for The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) was a federal-state-county partnership dedicated to developing knowledge in agriculture. The new building is approximately 6200 SF and includes offices, an instructional laboratory, an incubation room, a containment room, and a diagnostic area. Some of the laboratory features include: restricted air-flow in certain areas to fight contaminants from becoming air-borne, a biological safety hood, and a flammable material storage cabinet.
