BBI partnered with Infinite Energy to construct a 36,500 SF corporate headquarters expansion designed to support a growing workforce while enhancing collaboration, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
The multi-story facility combined complex structural systems, premium interior environments, advanced building systems, and modern workplace amenities to create a functional and visually distinctive addition to the company’s Gainesville campus.
THE CHALLENGE
Creating a headquarters facility that supports both people and performance.
Infinite Energy needed additional space to accommodate continued growth while creating an environment that encouraged collaboration, communication, and employee engagement.
The new facility was designed around the company’s operational needs, incorporating space for call center functions, trading operations, executive leadership, conference and meeting areas, and employee amenities.
The building’s unique architectural design introduced additional complexity, requiring coordination of threshold structural elements, load-bearing masonry, structural steel framing, dramatic sloped ceilings, and extensive building systems integration.
At the same time, the project needed to maintain schedule certainty and budget control while delivering a high-quality finished product aligned with the owner’s vision.
